9-1-1 Program Coordinator

What This Role Is About

As the Program Coordinator you'll be working with Emergency Communications Centers (ECC’s), State and local public safety officials, and Industry Partners promoting Virtual Academy training and training solutions. You'll be responsible for program coordination where ECC’s receive access to Virtual Academy’s self-paced online training and provide training solutions through a proprietary Training Management System. Additionally, you will represent the needs and desires of 9-1-1 in the product development process for new additional courses and solutions. This is a great opportunity for 9-1-1 business professionals to work in a diverse and dynamic environment, in a company that brings innovation to emergency communications across the nation.

What You’ll Do


Conference Management

  •          Manage all Conference registrations

  •          Coordinate with team attendees to make travel arrangements

  •          Coordinate with internal staff to ship promo items

  •          Attend all National Conferences and others as needed


Marketing Activities

  •          Source and purchase all promo items

  •          Coordinate with Graphic Design team

  •          Manage budget spreadsheet

  •          Manage inventory spreadsheet


Marketing Timeline Management

  •          Coordinate with Graphic Design team for emails, publications, and social media design

  •          Coordinate with internal staff to manage social media activities

  •          Plan and coordinate quarterly Marketing Events

  •          Annual Virtual Conference planning and coordination 

Partner Support

  •          Process all renewals

  •          Plan, Schedule, Market, and Conduct Quarterly Partner Engagement Events


Training Expert Sourcing

  •          Assist in identifying top training topics and experts

  •          Manage process from initial conversation through course design completion


What We’re Looking for In Our Ideal Candidate

  •          Familiarity with Public Safety training and training solutions preferred

  •          Experience in project management and marketing preferred

  •          Outgoing personality and strong written and verbal communication skills

  •          Ability to learn quickly and work primarily remote (Hybrid work environment)

  •          Strong ability to self-start and multitask

  •          Strong, Public Safety centric business acumen

  •          Excitement and passion for a rapidly evolving public safety environment

  •          Adaptable to new workflows and responsibilities

  •          Ability to travel
